Arthur’s Ice Cream Social
“I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!”
Last Thursday night was the perfect evening for an end-of-summer ice cream social! The Arthur’s residents, friends, and families gathered outside under tents for some fun.
The staff served 4 different kinds of ice cream with a buffet of 16 different toppings: hot fudge, butterscotch, cherries, cookies, brownies, Butterfinger, Reese’s Pieces, Gummy Bears, Crunch bars, whipped cream, sprinkles of all varieties – not to mention all the fixings for root beer floats.
Don sang and led group sing-alongs, and even some dancing! The kids played in the front yard with bikes, sidewalk chalk and games, and also played on the playground in the backyard. Everyone had a blast at the party, and it was a great way to say goodbye to the summer season.
