4th of July
For this year’s Independence Day, both of our homes gathered together with family and friends to celebrate!
It was a beautiful day and the summer heat kept almost everyone indoors sipping lemonade slushies and rootbeer.
We had an excellent turnout of about 30 people and enjoyed great conversations all afternoon. We had a classic, all-American menu: grilled barbecue chicken and brats served with calico beans, watermelon, chips, and potato salad. Delicious!
We finished our celebration off with tasty almond cheesecake bars and homemade, 4th-of-July-themed cupcakes. It was a great party and a perfect way to celebrate our nation’s independence together!
